Community

I strongly believe that the design process can be a fantastic tool for galvanising groups of people towards a common goal. Over the years I have worked collaboratively with various groups; self-builders looking to design their own housing, architecture students and DIYers looking to develop their own skills.

I have worked on both permanent and temporary places and spaces, which can be architectural interventions in themselves, or simply a process towards building a stronger community.

The Allotment Project

The allotment project was a collaboration with tangentfield and The Architecture Centre (Bristol), architecture and engineering students from the University of West of England.
